Inclement Weather Policy

Our summer programs will take place at an outdoor pool, and follow the Town of Markham’s inclement weather policies to keep everyone safe. If weather conditions like thunder, lightning, heavy rain, or poor visibility occur during a practice, the pool may need to close temporarily or for the day. In those cases, sessions may be adjusted, rescheduled, or cancelled as needed. For prolonged or severe conditions, closures may occur in advance. If a practice is affected, the Town of Markham will advise MASC coaches on the outcome, and participants will receive appropriate adjustments such as rescheduled lessons, or modified programming as applicable.
